Erin is a Registered Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia, Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (PSY0002412703). Erin is an Educational and Developmental Psychologist Registrar, and she is engaged in regular individual and group supervision. She is a Member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc.

Alongside private practice she maintains academic roles as Associate Professor, University of New England, and Honorary Fellow, Deakin University. She completed her postdoctoral training as Research Associate, Peterhouse, University of Cambridge.

She is a 2025 Sir Winston Churchill Fellow, Fulbright Scholar, and she held an Australian Health and Medical Research Council Early Career Fellowship. Erin holds various Board and advisory roles and she is regularly engaged in media, community, and other forums.
